On November 20, the 2025 Integrated Circuit Development Forum (Chengdu-Chongqing) and the 31st Integrated Circuit Design Exhibition (ICCAD-Expo 2025) officially opened in Chengdu.
Jiaxin Sun, founder of Julin Technology, was invited to attend the high-level forum and delivered a keynote speech titled "Sign-Off Design with SIDesigner." In the post-Moore era, driven continuously by data surges and computing power demands, the boundaries of system performance increasingly depend on the transmission quality of signals and power. The popularization of high-speed interfaces and the rise of advanced packaging technologies such as Chiplet have made collaborative design and precise sign-off from chip, through packaging, to board level critically important.
Traditional point tools often suffer from accuracy breaks and process fragmentation in cross-domain simulation, struggling to cope with the complexity of multi-physics field coupling. System-level SI/PI issues have become a core bottleneck restricting product performance and R&D efficiency. "The EDA industry needs innovation to solve the problems developers encounter. Especially under current international competition and cooperation dynamics, it is particularly important to build suitable EDA tools for the future," Jiaxin Sun believes.
SI/PI: The Core of High-Fidelity Data Transmission

It is a signal integrity simulation tool based on a graphical user interface, supporting general circuit simulation composed of common circuit component types, with several key advantages:
· Golden-Level Accuracy and Stability: The SIDesigner platform features the TJSPICE simulation engine, which integrates two core capabilities: True-SPICE time-domain simulation and Channel Simulation. It achieves industry-leading levels in both accuracy and stability.
· Comprehensive Interface Support: In terms of interface support, SIDesigner demonstrates comprehensive compatibility. The platform not only provides complete time-domain simulation solutions for parallel interfaces such as DDR, HBM, and UCIE but also covers mainstream high-speed serial interfaces like PCIE, MIPI, USB, and XSR, ensuring signal transmission quality through professional channel simulation technology.
· System-Level Analysis and Multi-Scenario Coverage: It offers key functions such as system-level power noise analysis, impedance characteristic verification, and cascaded S-parameter extraction. It also supports AC analysis and time-domain transient analysis, meeting simulation requirements for different stages from preliminary design to final verification.

Through in-depth cooperation with customers, SIDesigner continuously enriches its product features and enhances its value, including:
- DFQ Function: Design For Quality, integrating Design of Experiments (DOE), Response Surface Methodology (RSM), and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to efficiently seek the optimal system solution in a multi-variable environment.
- BERC (BER Contour): Combining time-domain simulation and channel simulation technology to predict deterministic performance and random jitter with the highest accuracy, suitable for performance evaluation of high-speed parallel interfaces such as DDR4/5, GDDRx, UCIE, and BOW.
- RS-Code Function: Precisely simulating the error correction effect of RSFEC in actual channels, providing a basis for system reliability design.
